Anxiety Counselling

I specialize in counselling for anxiety. I use techniques not limited to CBT, that are highly effective to reduce anxiety. Anxiety can take over our lives and lead us to avoid the things that we enjoy. Anxiety can also negatively impact our relationships, work performance, and our overall wellbeing.

Anxiety can show up in social situations (social anxiety), health, life changes, aging and in conflict. I will deepen your understanding and teach you new anxiety coping skills, so you’re able to get back on track.

OCD Counselling

OCD (obssesive compulsive disorder) is a very consuming anxiety disorder. OCD thrives on doubt, guilt, and responsibility. There is this constant need to seek for external reassurance due to the lack of self trust. The OCD brain loves to catastrophize on “What if” scenarios.

Common OCD subtypes include:

Checking OCD, Contamination OCD, Pure O (mental obessions without compulsions), Just Right/Perfectionism OCD, Relationship OCD, Postpartum OCD and Health OCD.

There is hope! We will work together and take the power back from OCD. Many people with OCD suffer alone. You don’t have to!

Depression Counselling

Depression is often accompanied by feelings of sadness, guilt, emptiness, and loss of interest in activities. Depression can happen for several reasons: recent loss of rewards (ie. something being taken away from you), new demands (ie. extra responsiblities, pressure, or expectations), and unhelpful thinking patterns.

Sometimes we need a little hope that things will be better. It’s hard to find hope within ourselves when we are going through depression. We don’t want to burden our friends and family, so we suffer alone. I can help you get out of this depressive rut.
